1984 – Robert’s Olympic Dream

Co-founder Robert LeMieux’s successful Olympic eventing career ended in catastrophic injury. His passion for safe, high-quality equipment was born out of recovery

1999 – Lisa’s delivery service

Co-founder Lisa LeMieux’s drive for success started behind the wheel of a Horse Health van. ‘You call, we gallop!’

2001 – Early trade stands in windy fields

Representing the brand where it matters – on the ground, in the field, up and down the country

2003 – Brochure design at Copied Hall Farm

Burning the midnight oil, with an eye for detail and pursuit of perfection that the entire team shares to this day

2003 – First website

2006 – Birth of LeMieux brand and saddle pads

Changing the game with industry-leading innovation, technical design and quality details

2009 - First trade exports

LeMieux’s global recognition started with exports to chosen countries

2011 – The colour story begins. Matchy-matchy is here!

Trend-spotters loved the brand’s colour expertise so much they chose to wear it head to toe!

2016 – US Business grows with Dover

On the trail to success with Dover Saddlery, the leading multi-channel retailer of equestrian products in the United States since 1975

2018 – The Big Move

From cottage industry to global enterprise, the company moved to a new build office and warehouse in Wellow, Hampshire UK

2020 – Toy Pony is launched

Our range of classic toys was born by combining new categories with collectability, creativity and quality.

2024 – Official Supplier to seven national Olympic teams at Paris 2024

LeMieux’s equestrian-led design team bespoke-designed seven Olympic teams’ Self-Cool and Carbon Mesh saddle pads, chosen to help them perform at the peak of their ability

2025 – New HQ opened

Needing even more space to accommodate our rapid growth, the state-of-the-art new facility was built with sustainable building practices to house our 150+ strong HQ team
