The Samshield XC Hat Liner uses shape-memory foam to maintain its fit and thickness over time. The semi-rigid chin strap helps keep the helmet secure during fast or sudden movement.
A strong clip fastening system holds the liner firmly in place and makes removal of this internal comfort foam quick and easy for washing. Wash at up to 30°C to keep your helmet fresh between rides.
This liner is compatible with both the XC and XJ SamShield riding hats.
Choose your Samshield Riding Hat liner in one of two shell sizes: Medium, or Large. Then select a liner in your head size, measured in centimetres around the widest part of your head.
We recommend keeping a spare liner on hand. It gives you a fresh liner while the other is in the wash and makes multi-day shows much more comfortable.
The size shown beside each liner — (S), (M), or (L) — matches the shell size it fits. Liners are available from 55cm to 61cm.

Measuring head size
Circle the largest part of the skull with a soft tape measure.
If measuring around long hair, tie the hair with a low-pony tail: this allows for correct measurement and reduces rotation when the helmet is worn.
