MEASURING ADVICE
- Sit in a straight chair with your knees bent at 90 degrees to the floor.
- Wear the breeches and socks that you would most likely wear with your tall boots.
- Have someone else measure your calves, if possible.
- To measure the calf width, measure at the widest part of the calf.
- To determine the calf height, measure leg height from the floor to the bend behind the knee.
- Add approximately 1/2″–3/4″ to allow for drop
- Approximate drop allowance is built into the chart height measurements to make sure you add drop to your leg measurement.
- Initially the boots should feel snug and quite tall to allow for a drop as the leather moulds to your fit.

Ariat’s 4LR™ is designed for outstanding every day support and comfort. ‘4LR’ stands for ‘Four Layer Rebound’ and cushions and stabilises the foot for all-day comfort and performance.
DURATREAD™
Exclusive to Ariat, Duratread™ is a rubber compound combining maximum wear-resistance with comfort and flexibility. It is designed to outlast traditional rubber, and to be flexible for ergonomic performance. It’s also highly resistant to barnyard acids, oils and slips. Always handy!
