Cutting-edge design and safety development deliver impact, penetration and crush-resistant properties. Lightweight yet strong from every angle, it features a corrugated ABS twin shell construction, with reinforced PC rim.

Engineered for comfort, it employs the Coandă effect airflow system to move heat away from your head. Inside, a washable headband and optional padding bring clean, fresh comfort and an individualised fit.

Instructions for Use: LeMieux Equestrian Safety Helmets

Fitting Instructions

For children, never select a helmet that is too large on the basis that they will ‘grow into it’

LeMieux Equestrian Safety Helmets are available in 3 sizes, featuring a 360° wrap fit system with a control wheel to ensure the secure fit that is essential to safety:
Small (52 – 55cm)
Medium (56 – 58cm)
Large (59 – 61cm)

Take some time to find the size that provides a close fit that covers as much of the forehead as possible and provides the maximum achievable protection without compromising the field of vision.

To minimise movement of the helmet when riding, ensuring it stays in position, the harness and 360° wrap fit system must always be correctly adjusted and securely fastened.

The buckle should be positioned flat on the side of the face or under the chin. Do not ride with the chinstrap unfastened.

360° Wrap Fit System

Achieve a secure fit during use, with a quick and effortless release when needed.

The 360° wrap control wheel is at the back of the head. Turn the wheel clockwise to tighten the helmet. Turn the wheel anticlockwise to loosen the helmet until you have reached your ideal fit.

Before use, ensure optimal comfort and stability with even tension on the front, sides, and rear.

To take off the helmet, simply pull the control wheel outward (or turn anticlockwise) to release, allowing the helmet to expand for easy removal.

The control wheel will spring back into place ready for adjustment the next time you wear the helmet.
Extra Padding

Customise your helmet fit with the 5mm and 10mm padded rings.

Pull from the back tab to remove the crown padding. Add extra rings as needed, pressing the padding into place using the micro hook and loop tape contact points, to ensure an even fit.

Before use, ensure optimal comfort and stability with even tension at the front, sides, and rear.
Check Fitting Instructions for more information about fitting your helmet.

It should not be possible to rotate or displace a correctly fitting helmet to reduce the level of protection and/or field of vision. If the helmet moves side-to-side, or forwards-and-backwards, without pulling the facial skin and scalp, it is too large. If the hat is constricting or painful, it is too small.

Spacing between the harness and the side of the user’s head may vary substantially from one individual to another. It is essential when choosing a helmet to ensure that when correctly fitted and adjusted, any gaps between the user’s head and the retention system are minimal, to reduce the risk of obstacles becoming entangled.
