The cotton draw reins are designed to help encourage a consistent head carriage and a softer, rounder frame while riding on the flat. By creating additional pressure on the bit through the bars and corners of the horse’s mouth, they gently encourage the horse to lower its head and engage through the back. This pressure is immediately released as the horse responds correctly, softening into a rounder outline and carrying itself in a more balanced and connected way. It’s important to note that draw reins are not suitable for use while jumping.
