Product Info
The Rambo Hoody Sweet Itch Fly Rug in Chalk/Hunter Green/Silver is a premium full-coverage rug designed to protect horses from sweet itch, biting insects, UV rays, and summer skin irritations. Built from tough 1000D close-woven polyester, it provides a reliable physical barrier that prevents insects from penetrating the fabric while ensuring long-lasting durability in demanding summer conditions.
Offering exceptional top-to-tail protection, this rug features an integrated fixed neck cover with shaped ear holes, an extended belly wrap with secure closure, three cross surcingles, and a generous tail flap for maximum coverage. Designed with horse comfort in mind, it helps keep your horse calm, protected, and comfortable throughout the warmer months.
Engineered with a V-Front closure, Surefit neck design, and dual leg arches, it allows for natural movement and freedom. Soft silky linings at the mane, shoulders, and tail flap help reduce rubbing and improve comfort during extended wear. With strong UV protection and thoughtful detailing throughout, this rug is a trusted choice for managing sweet itch and summer skin sensitivity.

To find the right size for your horse HorseWare recommend to take certain measurements of your horse and refer to their size guide above. Bear in mind that every horse is different, and this table is a guide only.
Using a soft measuring tape, measure from (A) at the center point of the chest, across the point of the shoulder and to the point (B) at the center of the tail.
When you have the measurement, remove 10cm (4inches) and choose your horse’s size from the table above.
