The shorter cable is a mandatory requirement to meet child safety standards for little listeners aged 1+. For older listeners (3+) you can either pick up a longer USB-C charger from tonies.com or use a suitable cable you have at home.
This device will only transmit the audio data without collecting or storing any of it. When connected to your Toniebox 2, the microphone function of this device is deactivated; When connected to third-party devices (e.g., a smartphone), the microphone function of this device can be used normally.
