AubiChick Bedding 20kg
AubiChick Bedding 20kg creates a perfect soft and cosy bed for your chickens.
It absorbs far more moisture than straw and wood-based products, so it keeps your chickens warm and dry while also reducing how much bedding you need. Because it’s a natural hemp product, you can simply add it to your compost heap, and it will quickly turn into a rich fertiliser for your garden.

Using AubiChick or Aubiose for your Poultry
AubiChick comes from the core of the hemp plant, making it a natural and sustainable option. It absorbs six times more moisture than woodshavings, and manufacturers create it using only mechanical methods. As a result, it avoids chemicals, pesticides, and herbicides. Hemp also locks in odours and naturally repels bugs and flying insects. Moreover, if you enjoy gardening, your birds’ waste will compost quickly while producing a nutritious fertiliser for your garden or allotment.
AubiChick and Aubiose differ mainly in texture. AubiChick has a finer grade, giving it a softer feel, while Aubiose—sold mainly as horse and pet bedding—contains larger hemp pieces. Even so, you can confidently use either product with any type of bird.
For this guide, we focus on chickens, since they remain the most commonly kept birds.
