Horse calmer supplements are designed to promote relaxation and reduce stress in horses, aiding in their overall well-being and temperament.
If you know that your horse gets stressed or anxious, for example around bonfire night, it may be helpful to consider adding a calming supplement to their ration, at least one month in advance. This gives the supplement time to work its way into their system and take effect. If it doesn’t have an effect during this time, there is still opportunity to change before bonfire night comes, for instance.
Dodson & Horrell Placid is ideal for horses and ponies who are prone to anxiety, nerves or excitability. With a natural blend of chamomile, lemon balm, vervain and magnesium; all of which are renowned for their calming properties, Placid is ideal to add into an existing diet to support your horse’s nerves through challenging times.
